Chaat Bhavan in Fremont has quickly become one of my favorite spots! They offer an impressive variety of dishes, from flavorful chaats to hearty North Indian meals. I especially love that they have a rotating monthly specials menu, which gives you a reason to keep coming back and try something new. One thing to keep in mind is that the portion sizes are quite generous. If you're ordering a thali or combo, it's often enough to share between two people. Whether you're dining with family, catching up with friends, or planning a casual date night, Chaat Bhavan is a great choice. The food, variety, and value make it a place I'll definitely be visiting again!

It had been a while since my last visit to this location, so I was genuinely excited to come back and it did not disappoint. I ordered my usual favorites along with their April special, Dhaba Style Paneer Gravy paired with Rosemary Garlic Naan. The paneer dish was rich and flavorful, but the real standout was the Rosemary Garlic Naan. It was absolutely incredible perfectly aromatic, soft with just the right crisp, and it elevated every bite of the meal. Honestly, I’d come back just for that naan alone. Service was equally impressive. Jatinder went above and beyond consistently checking on our table, offering water and refills without us even having to ask. That level of attentiveness really made the experience feel welcoming and effortless. Overall, a fantastic visit. Great food, excellent service, and that Rosemary Garlic Naan is a must-try. Highly recommend!

Yesterday, I did go for lunch with my husband and we ordered garlic paneer chilli with stuffed kulcha, bhel thali with chaas and parantha. Thali items were all cold except for the parantha in it. The taste of thali was all bland with no salt and spices. Garlic chilli paneer pieces were so big for a bite (ice cube shaped) and also it was cold inside. Kulcha, parantha and chaas were the only items I liked. Chaat Bhavan used to have good quality and tasty food couple of years ago but now the quality, taste is really gone down.

I gave a better rating before to this restaurant, however, dropping it since they need to improve their services. There are vegan items added to the menu which is the reason we went to the restaurant. The waiter informed us that the vegan rice items are cooked with butter. So we ordered paratha which was excessively salty. We talked with the manager and he apologized. They corrected that the vegan items are indeed vegan. They were willing to make those for us and offered a new vegan dessert too. Appreciate that. Would advise any one vegan to ask about each item. For example, they bring dairy based raita for a vegan paratha order. They do need to train their waiters better. I am hoping they will improve their service. The restaurant is too crowded with tables packed too close.
